Shopping for a New Smartphone for My Aunt
Today I thought I would update all my blog readers about what has been keeping me so busy the past month.
Many of you know that I am the caregiver to my 86 year old great auntie. My uncle passed away 4 years ago and they never had any children. Once he passed away, my mother, myself and my husband became her caregivers and have been looking after her ever since.
Well, last month she fell and broke her back in 4 places, fractured her nose and her hip. After surgery we had to move her into a nursing home aka rehab hospital for the elderly. She has been there for the past 2 1/2 weeks.
Last week we were informed that they don't want her coming home again and that she will need round the clock care. They recommended an Assisted Living Facility to us for her. We have been busy making all of the arrangements and securing her a small apartment in the assisted living center.
Well, we can't have phone service hooked up in her apartment so we decided to go with T-Mobile prepaid smartphones and just pay for her phone service as she needs it. This way if they have to move her back to the rehab hospital again, her phone can go with her. We think for now that this was the best decision to go because the doctor warned us that she might be moved arround several times until they get all this medical business figured out.
Do any of you use T-Mobile smartphones and if so, do you like them? A few years ago my husband used T-Mobile for his business cell phone and really liked them so we are hoping we have a good experience with them this second time around.
Anyway, thank you all for asking about my aunt and for now...that is where this all stands. Hopefully next week we will know even more. Have a great weekend!

Saving Up Your Pennies
When it comes to all of that loose change we all seem to accumulate, do you toss yours into a big jar or piggy bank? If so, what are you saving it up for?Hubby and I have 2 containers that we toss our change into. One is for our vacation "fun money" and one is for our Little G (grand daughter) which we cash in and deposit into a savings account that we started for her after she was born.
In addition, how often do you cash-in your piggy bank funds? We cash in our vacation "fun money" twice a year and Little G's funds are cashed-in & deposited every 2 months. We would love to hear all about your loose change so please leave us a few comments below! thanks!

Shopping Around for a New Cell Phone Plan
I have been pretty busy the past few days trying to find a new cell phone provider and checking out various cell phone calling plans. My contract with my current company is up on June 5th and I really want to switch to a new company since I am very dissatisfied with my current one.
I was asking around and someone tell me about the great t-mobile cell phone plans and have been doing some research online about those. I have never used t-mobile before, but everything I have heard and read from others online seems to be very positive. Do any of you have this carrier and if so, do you like them? What kind of plan do you have through them?
For my personal and business needs, I would like to get a cell phone plan with unlimited minutes (local and long distance), unlimited text messaging and unlimited web data. I would like to find all of that for a very affordable price. I am also sick and tired of dropped calls with my old carrier so I want a carrier who has great reliability too!
Hubby and I will be doing a lot of traveling this summer so having a reliable cell phone is important to me as I take my business on the road with me. I am hoping that I can find what I need next week so I can get everything switched over before we leave for vacation on June 12th.
I would love to hear from all of our blog readers on who they use for the cellular service and what you like and don't like about them. I always find that the best references come from those you know, so please feel free to leave us some comments below. Thanks!
